Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and WebzCity ("we", "us"), a web design business based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, United Kingdom. Contact: support@webzcity.com. When you order from us, you are contracting with WebzCity.

2. Acceptance

By using our website or services, you agree to these terms. If you order on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. If you order as an individual, you confirm you are 18 or over.

3. Our services

We provide pay-monthly website design, hosting and maintenance, optional add-ons such as an AI lead-capture chatbot, and Business Hub plans (Core, Momentum and Command). What's included in each plan is described on our Websites and Business Hub pages.

4. Payments, billing and orders

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, renewals, taxes, cancellations and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and your service continues until the end of the period you've paid for.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep any account login details confidential.
  • Make sure you have the rights to any text, photos or logos you send us.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use our services or websites we build for you:

  • for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading;
  • to send spam or unsolicited messages;
  • to infringe anyone's intellectual property;
  • to interfere with security, including malware, probing, scraping or attempts to gain unauthorised access.

7. Intellectual property

WebzCity keeps ownership of our software, templates, tools, documentation and branding. You keep ownership of the content you supply. You give us a limited licence to host and use your content only to provide the service.

8. Service level

We work hard to keep websites fast and online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties.

9. Liability

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your service if you seriously breach these terms, do not pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly break our acceptable use rules. When your service ends, we'll give you a reasonable chance to request a copy of your content before it is deleted.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and tell active customers about significant changes.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
